Strawberry Spinach Salad Recipe

GOOD MORNING, EVERYONE!

I made this awesome salad yesterday using random stuff I had in the kitchen and it turned out great, so I wanted to share it with you. I love healthy living and healthy food, and I like to share it with others! No fancy article to accompany it. Just how to make the salad. Here’s what I used:

1/2 cup spinach

1/2 cup arugula

1/4 cup sliced strawberries

1 tangerine, peeled and sliced

2 tbs almonds

2 tbs shelled pumpkin seeds

1 oz Dubliner cheese

2 tbs olive oil

1 tbs balsamic vinegar

I put it all in a container with a lid, shook it up and it was AWESOME!! I put it into MyFitnessPal to get a calorie count and it’s about 600 calories, depending on how closely you stick to the ingredients. It’s a perfect lunch for me, but if you prefer fewer calories, you can do one or more of the following things:

Decrease or eliminate: the cheese, olive oil, almonds or pumpkin seeds. Those 4 items have the most fat and therefore the most calories.

I hope you enjoy it! Have a great day!
